Hey swaggernaut, I realized that from the get go. The point is to emulate the lotus orb. Maybe if I made a whole set it would work? Or is it mandatory that a set follows the predefined color schemes of a character?

Hey Swaggletooth, thanks for the suggestion. I agree, the contrast is quite crisp. I might solve it by vertex painting on the beams to blend the transition, but I also plan to tweak the colors in general a bit more. I'll keep you posted
