I am liking the uniqueness of the crate as well as the feeling of it actually being built from pieces. The monitor to me is looks fine as well, feels like a model out of fallout 3. Continue the great work and hopefully we can see some of these normal mapped and textured out!
Well, I suggest continuing watching tutorials and studying the anatomy of the face, I think this video is pretty cool: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kE9U9p95ekg[/ame] But really you're gonna want to look at pics of everything that make up the face and just practice practice practice.
Simply amazing... I was hooked from the very beginning and then... "to be continued". I can't wait, once he gets the print store up and running I'll defiantly buy at least one from him to support this, I can't wait to see what happens. Thanks neox for sharing this!
@mxrxq Congrats, turned out nicely! Like the solution you found for the back side. @Gannon Wood texture looks great! Keep it up! @PeculiarSana Nice! Already has some character. Do you use any baking or paint the texures directly? If I had to make a rigged prop, I would probably make a mockup first, to identify potential…
We don't own or have exclusive rights to any of the concept art used in these challenges, so you won't be stepping on our toes if you use it for your own work! This challenge cycle will end on February 28th, but everyone is more than welcome to continue posting updates if they work on their projects beyond that point. :)
Imagine going for an in person interview and your interviewer cutting you off half way through and saying, 'can we continue tomorrow? I actually have like... so many applicants I gotta get through today.' At the end of the interview, you should just link them to this thread hahaha
I'm not sure what would cause that issue. The Suite is unsupported in its current state and is discontinued. If you'd like to continue using NDO-like functionality, what you can do is create height maps in Photoshop and load those into Mixer to generate normal data from the height inputs you've provided to it.
Art Bully Productions is continuing work on the vehicle-based combat game Not My Car. We've made some additional weapons that we'll be showing off this week. The first art drop for today is the Rocket Launcher. The game is in early Alpha. You can sign up for the closed Alpha here: https://notmycar.com/
Okay, here is another silhouette pass. I tweaked his proportions quite a bit and I also went back to his arms and neck area. Hopefully his primary forms continue to improve. Once again, please comment if you have any crucial feedback, otherwise he can't improve.
@Benkeeling - Thanks for your critique on this, really helped! Inspired by Anthony Vaccaro, I put together an animated gif showing the albedo authoring process. I also added some new renders. Thanks to everyone for their continued feedback and support, really pushed me! Plentiful renders behind the "spoiler" wall below.
