I love the scribbly style, reminds me of good old paint r u into pixelart by any chance? Id love to see some of those fully finnished with a interesting colour pallette and pixel art stuf like dithering
Hello, my name is Vlad and I'm an entry level 3D artist. I have 2 years of experience with Blender and I worked a few months with Unreal Engine as well. Take a look at my portfolio and let me know if you we can work together.
Just wondering if anyone knew how to output renderings isometrically to a pixelart style. I've got the renders coming out fine isometric just need some tips of setting up mental ray (or any other renderer) to output a 256 colour pixel art-esque render. Using 3dsmax. Thanks
Hello Polycount, I've been a passive reader for a long time and now I really need your help. First of all I'll introduce myself, I'm Marc Castellanos programmer, pixel artist and newbie game designer. I have made a game with Unity with 2d npc's and characters and Isometric world, looks cool I've posted a link on my twitter…
Happy about any thoughts, feedback and comments! Looking to slowly start moving into characters, possibly animation further down the line. These are all box modelled (not comfortable with sculpting workflow yet) and handpainted in PS (Substance doesn't give me quite the same level of control for this type of work).
The way you put it, pior, reminds me of those huge pixelart collaborations at wayofthepixel. I can see this sort of thing working nicely once it gets started, if ever. I'm tempted... but have way too many other things to finish up first. (Excuses, excuses...)
Here is my pixel art for our current game in development, also we have 3D stuf with pixelart textures. We have a thread here, if you want to swing by http://polycount.com/discussion/158458/vaccine-war-action-adventure#latest Have a happy creative weekiend :)
Thanks guys. I've got the idea. Still I have to say it's a hell of a pain. Even more so than Designer usually is . I couldn't recollect where things are just next day. And whatever I try to do in Painter the textures are always blurrier than same thing in Designer where if you code pixel processors and Fx-maps to do all…
I only gone dun and released a new pixelart game! B) Available for New 3DS, Wii U & Steam. Just spreading the good news, let me know what you think! o:) NintendoLife gave it 9/10 :o https://youtu.be/UQO2syGhjMg <- vid Pirate Pop Plus <- website http://store.steampowered.com/app/487350 <- steam link
I'm finding this thread informative and also loving the progress. It seems that we're have a good wave of warcraft fanarts in this forum. Where is your 3D portfolio, if you don't mind me asking? I saw you pixelart, which is great, but I'd like to see more of your 3D as well.
