i finally can point at something and have ownership. I did the muzzel flashes you see on the xwing. I did all the special effects for the new expansion as well. finished them up a while ago, working on worldbuilding now.
An older contribution to Orcs Must Die 3 that I forgot to upload. I love doing lighting, really hoping to get the chance to do more soon. Worldbuilding.... is a staple in my career these days! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xY3ZVY?fbclid=IwAR00Baae41ApKK63McLs92J9D8ZnB3O1-pYTguCYfM0OB0Wd1stR1xMQ8TM
Thanks man :) it's been a real blast making it. Here's the difficult part now, I've been concepting/mockup up some worldbuilding to the scene, I have a few assets pending to add to tell the story, but I'm trying to sell the background now, instead of just being a void. I said initially a stalenhag vibe was what I was…
You know, it occurred to me as I was exploring the game world (as well as reading some of the dev posts here) that you must have built a lot of lore/history into the setting that we gamers never really got to see up close - stuff like what acapulco mentioned about Mount Horu a few pages back. Will we be seeing any of that…
So at some point I thought I'd rename the game so I could change up the plot details. It went from Key of Ethios to: I did some really neat worldbuilding stuff: That there's the World Tree skybox- it and four other Pillars are the backbone of the world, so to speak- all landmasses are suspended amidst their branches!
Hi everyone, I'm a concept and storyboard artist currently living in the UK. I mostly do characters and creatures, but I love worldbuilding too. I'd really appreciate any critique on my work! For now, here's something I did recently: Thanks for dropping by :) (If you want to find me elsewhere, I'm all over the place):…
So a small update on this project, i've been on a small break due to some study responsibilities but i managed to get some new stuff working. I completed the following tasks: * UV mapping for the foundation and floor building blocks * UV mapping and texturing of the windows (though some need some refinement) * Model for an…

This challenge is a way for real-time 3D artists to test their skills and create a piece of work based on concepts provided. It's open to those of all skill levels and we do our best to…
So, if you said "A highly detailed environment can express more story than one with no detail" I'd agree in most cases. But when I hear detail I don't think photorealistic. I think of thoughtful worldbuilding. Which you can do with any art style. There are always ways to add detail to the world. And a million different…
Redesigned the infested race, the large bulbous egg carrier in the back plus head tubes/tentacles would've been too annoying to clothe, armour, and there would be animation clipping with furniture. I've replaced them with thin fungal appendages that can move and animate, and that take up the same area as the vampire race…
