Axi5, yep I have been running both ps and ndo in administrator mode. I swear, I've tried every little trick and setting configuration that I can think of.
@Axi5 Gotcha. I clicked on the box/arrow next to transparency. I've toyed with the color balance attributes to no avail. I'm not quite sure if I'm following you on what to do next.
Hi Axi5, Thanks for the suggests, but it does not work. Changing the Axis Orientation to Component does not move it in the diagonal direction like the Transform tool does. It just move it on a flat x,y,z plane.
I agree with Axi5. As a beginner you should learn to model these things first before using pre-built meshes. For both practice and experience. It's like the difference between a 'script-kiddie' and a real programmer.
Okay, thanks Axi5. For UE4, Is it better to use the bsp brush or static mesh for walls?I am designing a building.I am wondering which will give better results in terms of performance and realism.Or it doesn't matter?
@CrackRockSteady @Axi5 That two models was just an example, not specific models I've got problem with. Thanks for discussion, I didn't expect so many posts :) So it really depends on the situation and lead/client wish.
@Axi5 Thankyou for the additional info, I'll probably do a bit more additional research on that and see where it gets me (vega FE is still calling my name if I can get it used or on sale).
Thank you so much Axi5. I will try this later for sure. I am using GIMP even though I don't think that makes any difference. Gimp supports TGA I believe/hope.
Hi Axi5! I'm glad that you liked my technique ) I am 100% sure that you will be able to replicate this in Maya. But the more interesting question is. Сan you write a script that will chamfer/boolean automatically and parametrically?
Some things that could be pretty useful for post-processing is AO, skybox, lens effects, fog... But that's pretty much the only viable post-processing I know you could get out of this, everything else is as Axi5 said for debugging.
