all i have to say is wow, incredible job the mesh flow is very well done, and it seems pretty low on polies compared to its detail. The character is very original and creative, and just really well done I cant wait to see it textured, you did an awesome job man
The thing is, all CPUs themselves are capable for both multi- and single-threaded tasks, lol. But seriously, Intel usually has better single-core/single-thread max performance clock speeds than AMD's counterparts. AMD's CPUs are still recommended for creative work, due to their better multi-threaded performance.
Yeah Slum! watch it! not many shows this day preserve, good animation, style, and a good story with creative characters. Yeh... the dog looks a little bland i guess. I really loved it tho. Looking at little girl Korra with her pot belly was hilarious! really awesome stuff so far.
Yes... the concept is very complex, and I realize it's going to require some very creative poly placement to get something similar. A lot of this will be in the normal map I think :) Poo shaped rock... LOL... I was thinking we could put an Inukshuk on there instead, haha. That or a rock chin-strap for the "dumb" head.
Lots of Tiling going on. I essentially textured every asset with a tilable textures, including the 'O No' Carrier. Some assets required some 'creative UVing', especially the ship, but it ended up saving alot of texture space in the end. We can get some wireframes when we are back from GDC
If you're like me and sometimes don't want to listen to music or anything you really have to pay attention to, check out Coffitivity. "Coffitivity recreates the ambient sounds of a cafe to boost your creativity and help you work better." Probably better for the people that enjoy working at a Starbucks or something similar,…
Im not sure what youre pertaining to. Which is that exaclty? Thanks! Yes, I will soon. Maybe do a rerender of all my stuff. But, for now, I'll have to fill up my portfolio first and work on my skills further. But, I will try to be more creative on my next presentation. Thanks for th
Getting closer. Good job. You may need a bit of creativity arranging the leaf on top tho. The reference clearly doesn't have its leaf pointing outwards like yours. They are quite horizontal. Don't be afraid to add floating cards to archive that, cards do not need to always follow direction of the branch.
Cool stuff... to bad I don't have Fb :( Would you be so kind and make them available under a creative commons license? I guess this one would be the best suited: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ Some of the models would fit very well into this open-source game: www.sumwars.org
2 probs for me, 1- floor in top down shot is crap, plain and dosmt fit, 2- hrizontal line in cordor(with trees) dosnt work, would do if it was broken down or something. also env is nice techniquly but doesnt have creative catch. something to draw the mind into the space, and give it reason.
