It all depends on how expensive the use of alpha is in your game-engine. but I would have done it with an alpha in this case, picked one of the links in the chain and baked it to a plane, and used that with a chain-maker script (which you can find easily on creative crash for example), to create the low-poly chains.
thanks " slipsius " :poly136:  i think when i put the first animation pass you can criticize it well.. the all idea from my layout to show my shot Idea. and thanks for that " box/ball " timing Idea .. it's really very great creative and helpful Idea. Greetings
Chimay Blue A little expensive but at 9% alc and 75 cl its worth it, especially for how great of a beer it is. But mostly I just go brew my own at a little place in Edmonds, after a few times you start to get creative and brew almost exactly what you want.
They do, but like you mention it is EXTREMELY under-valued, as high school these days seem to be meant more to churn out teens ready to become worker bees rather than creative individuals. At my high school our required career guidance was little more than another standardized test.
"Check out this funny thing that belong in 'The Thread of Awesomeness' but it was so awesome it needed its own thread." "That was posted in the thread of awesomeness 2 weeks ago" "so does anyone have a tutorial on how to make something really cool? I need to fill out the 'creative' section of my portfolio."
so for characters you are not supposed to redesign the way the character looks? eg go more photoreal with the sculpt or make them old and wise or a cyborg version etc. it is really just recreating a base character thats already been designed...and then adding an outfit of your own design to that? thats the creative bit?
Those materials read beautifully, really well done! It was alot of fun seeing this piece come together. When you are churning out these pieces so quick, are there concepts involved,or do you just sketch out in zbrush/mudbox until you feel the creative juices rejoicing and then just roll with it?
