Thanks pal I hadn't considered laying over the Loomis head like this - there's 1 to remember :) I can solve proportions myself in future. The planar head was actually next on the tick list... New head tomorrow :) thanks
Most Blender Devs are and users are cool. It's the small, vocal, percentage of freetards that ruin it for everyone. If I ever opened a Blender Message board, no one who had a copy of Linux installed would be granted membership. Problem solved.
@kaburan: its not ideal, lol. I just cant think of another way to solve it, that wont leave the surface even lumpier. Its on isoline display, but here goes though: http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/9381/puhada.jpg
@Retmia, I couldn't agree more. Our team has been solving polys by hand for over a decade, but always trying to find ways to speed up the process! I agree, we need to find an insider at Autodesk!
Seems I understand a solving. I selected need areas and scaled it out with soft selection and then just used relax - polygons have become bigger. I will try to make more accurate UV and then I will share results.
I use the default scanline renderer and a skylight to render my AO maps. Works fine for me. Perhaps you can try that for now (I know it's more of a work around than actually solving your problem )
actually i have been having some problems with my left eye, was wondering whether lasik could solve the problem. it keeps twitching after i stare into the screen for too long, nver happened to me before
Toomas: 4 sided as in a full 8 sided cylinder.. or essentially a 4 sided cylinder.. which makes it a square. That lowers the poly count by a lot though, plus doesn't solve the problem of how to approach the structure of the model. Zash
Better ways of controlling the world and interacting, i hate having to solve 100 puzzles using the same interactions. So in other words more dynamic puzzles like shadow of the collossus bosses and hl2's gravity gun.
Wow, incredible paintover! I think with this appearence she looks much evil, and still looks sexy. I think this will solve the eyes question definetely. Thank you very much, ElysiumGX. Next up will come soon.
