Victorian Disney style would be amazing or like a steam punk Victorian would be cool to (though i accidentally voted for biosphere rather than Victorian.. way to pay attention lol)
Great start! Strikes me as maybe more of a Disney-style than what I would typically associate with anime, do you have any references you are working towards?
Before and after showing a total redo of an old model (character is from "The Ballad of Nessie" by Disney). I did the old version when I first started teaching myself to sculpt.
Yeah, that was a bummer, especially when you realize that he also did "The Grinch Song", as well as a lot of Voice work for Disney (Inclusing the "Haunted House". His voice will be missed. Scott
Nice work Neox, one of the best 3d renditions of a Disney character I've seen. Are you using a multi-layer shader with falloff to achieve the cartoon/plastic look or something fancier?
Ah damn, I missed you in Richmond (moved out from there this summer), but if you're ever coming to Disney World or to watch shuttles take off, I'll be happy to be your host.
Well in that case, just render the character frames ahead of time in a giant spritesheet and fill up a couple hundred megabyte? Just prerender the frames similar to how disney does.
Trying to figure out how Disney faces work in 3D. Not successful. Some guy. A couple of eye studies And the latest generic female head. One hour without reference.
Seconding "the Iron Giant" it's my favorite movie. Seconding 28 days later. The Fox and the Hound (disney) Hero (great colors) Starship Troopers (best B movie ever)
Like with Nightmare before Christmas. Burton did the first sketches at work, and so Disney owned the designs. Worked out better for him though, it made funding and distributing it easier.
