I almost guarantee it won't be more that $199 in the states. And IF it is - it's because of some sort of bundle included (like wii sports or something). My best guess? I'm gonna go with $179. -

asilefx zbrush terrain brush kit: worth it?
I was researching more about terrain texturing in zBrush and found this kit: http://www.asilefx.net/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=163 Would you guys recommend it? Never bought anything from asilefx before. -

I'm happy to help! Yeah smoothing as in smoothing groups. From the screenshot it looks like the smoothing is set somewhat arbitrarily. If that is Modo try setting the smoothing angle to 179 and exporting the low again. -

Retopo is underway! Currently sitting at 17K tris, I'm hoping to keep it under or around 30k with everything included. Might be a stretch, but we'll see how it goes. Thoughts or suggestions are always welcome! -

I still wholeheartedly endorse the HP nw9440. Quadro 1500 (nvidia 7900 gt chip) for the win! It's also the thinnest lightest 17" laptop with a serious graphics card in it. 1.3" and 7.5 lbs
