No outline for me. If you want, I think you can push the stylization farther with more clearly defined textures rather than relying on an outline. -

Very cool! This has a great feel to it. Only thing I'd say is the lighting is all warm. MIght be nice to push some cooler colors in the shadows. -

Push the forms more on the model! Make the cylinder larger. The trigger curl is too much. You'd cut your finger. Add some details on the barrel. -

Using the Relax and Push modifiers together a lot on sub object selections. Symmetry modifier chains with different mirror axis rotations (good for 3D concepting). -

Re: Can I automatically save as version 2012 in max 2013?
Copy the line, go into max, press F11, paste the line, then select it and drag it into the toolbar. Now every time you push that button it will execute the code.
