Great start, some parts of the mesh still look a bit to hight poly while others could use a bit more polygons, I sujest balancing out the tries in certain areas. For example the machine gun on the front could use a bit more polygons, while the up and down axis holding up the main canon could easily have a smaller poly…
Andreas, MaterialFunctions let content people build their own nodes. For example I built a node that projects a texture in world space from all 3 axis and blends using the normal. You could also build a node for a special type of shading you want to share with other people. Another useful aspect of functions is being able…
i must have passed it up lol. I just started using XBrush about a month ago and am still learning everything about it. does the crease tool work on open geometry? i will be applying a mirror mod on the objects i am importing, all of them have open faces on the x axis.
Well, usually if you manage to get the item exported and showing up, the only parameters left to check would be things like axis location, reset Xforms, and so on.
ReD-SpideR: I believe we already solved this right? tada download link: http://www.renderhjs.net/bbs/polycount/texture_maxscript_tools/TexTools_2.50.mzp changes: * Peltmap: If just 1 edge is selected, edge loop it and then cut the element there * Bake Detail maps: Comes in its own panel (click on the 'detail' button to…
Man, I just can't agree with simply saying that "not meddling in other people's business" is inherently the correct way to go. Maybe WWI turns out differently, but maybe not - the US was certainly the most conciliatory of the Treaty of Versailles' signatories, so I don't know that US isolationism would have prevented the…
pretty sure he will fall backwards with the new feel, I would make the feet a bit bigger,in the axis as provided in this picture: [IMG][/img] now i dont know if he will actually fall with the new feet, iam just saying that thats how I feel
Nah, it's more like the LW method, except it's a toggle rather than a thing that becomes active while holding down a key - in LW you hold CTRL and it moves along the closest axis to your movement, while in CB's script you press a button to toggle this mode, then again to turn it off. It's not really much like Maya's method…
I dont believe there is a way by default. However there has been a couple scripts that might do the job. http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?161588-quot-Axis-quot-Plugin-for-ZBrush-4r2&p=903920&viewfull=1#post903920…
eh, sorta? I usually model pretty exact rather than just moving things by eye so the ability to move meshes to any xyz point in space. once I move an object with the transform move tool and then go back to move.. it always dispays 0,0,0. Its more like the offset mode max has.great if you want to move something by exact…
