Thanks Marlfox. Yeah. The left concept is a bit regal. And maybe a bit Disney now I come to think of it. Anyway. Will keep trying different hair do's. Heres this mornings quicky. Starting to play with textured brushes. Time:30mins
I would say its so low it doesnt matter that much. Stick with it. If you like to learn topo. Grab those Char from the Disney Topo Master Sergi. https://www.sergicaballer.com/rollerderbygirl-production-ready-3d-model/
holy shit this looks amazing! Subbed! love the look of that soldier, and the father looks like he is plucked right out of a Disney movie, the only crit I have is Lily herself might look a bit unpolished compared to the rest.
Thanks guys. Keep the proportions controlled was a litle pain in the ass at first because the persepective on the concept. So I tried to recreat it and changed some things, maybe getting some disney apearence... anyway i'm happy with the results :proud:
Day 5 Just practicing to get a likeness on a stylized/cartoon character made from head but disney inspired. I've had a little break on sculpting just a couple of days. But today i'm back on to work on the problems highlighted in the comments.
A sculpt of Dr.Doppler from Treasure planet I sculpted a while ago. Treasure planed is one of my favorite Disney movies and Dr.Doppler my favorite char from the movie. Ahh them childhood memories ヾ(○ω○)ノ
Disney did a great job of telling the story. The visual effects were amazing, the Lion alone must a taken so long to get the hair to look right. The kids acting really bothered me, maybe because its a disney movie, so all children actors have to look and talk the same. Harry Potter has far better kid actors. Visual effects…
nah its not cheating, lots of older disney movies were animated this way. the key is to remember that even though anyone can trace a frame by frame recording, it takes an understanding of timing, weight and posing to bring out the life in those frames
yes and sorry about 2 disney flicks in a row I promis the next wont be inspired by trying to share my youth with my little brother (tho I did see Aliens when it first came out does that count?)
not quite. Same sort of period though "i love it : suicides, assassinations, mad bombers, mafia hitmen, automobile smashups. The Death Hour : a great sunday night show for the whole family. It'd wipe that fucking Disney right off the air. "
