yeah, the 9.01 patch fixed a shitload of problems i was having with CS2, and made it actually ok to work with. There are other outstanding issues to CS2 that i choose to hate, but for the most part since ive gotten that patch it hasnt been too bad. C4D rules the motion graphics department, has plenty of plugins and a great renderer. Lightwave is still used a lot, but mainly in commercials/films.
