Still feeling pretty bad, but I want to work on stuff. I worked on his boots, pants, and the armor on his legs today. I'm happy with the pants but I feel like I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to the shoes. Does anyone know of any tutorials or anything to help with that?
Thank you for the kind words guys! Okay.. so I have been busy with a few projects but this one has been the primary one for the past few months. So the local art gallery was doing another show that I wanted to enter(this is number 3). The show theme is "Superheroes and Supervillains". I thought about this one long and hard…
Thanks Mark! For the most part I'm fine with smoothing groups, this is an example of where I ran into the problem. I want the red line there to be hardened. Really I'm just wanting to make a lowish poly model to mess around with some hand painted texture practice on. Nothing special. I just wanted to give myself visual…
Let me first just make this very important point before I say anything else: Copyright was a law born about 500 years ago when the printing press was invented. It was feared that people would print seditious books against the church and monarchy, so they made it illegal for anyone but government approved publishers…
Nope, that's meditation. Some people just need the host of things in order to be able to go blank. Some don't, but it still counts. I tend to go for meditation, video games, or ranting at a close/sympathetic friend. Games are good for the angrier side of things as I can take the aggression out on pixels, ranting is best…
Well first off, I use Canon, so my recommendations will be based off of that. Nikon and Pentax make great cameras and have pretty equivalent systems, generally when i was researching my camera, I found Canon had better image quality and less noise at the same price point as other systems. Also canon EF lenses are very…
On both of my monitors I can see very little. It is almost entirely black. It might be worthwhile to work with the scene in grayscale and find a value range that makes for a distinct foreground, midground, and background. Just because it is night doesn't mean has to be pitch black. A full moon reflects a lot of light. As…

[/ QUOTE ] Apple has plenty of competition in the hardware arena. They just choose to try and lead here, and I think they do awesome as far as design. My Powerbook has shown…
JFeezy! Thanks for the comment Really cant think of anything I want to do with this character... preferablly something that shows a bit of skin. So far, I have come up with this Heissenburg inspired character (Breaking bad). But as I said.. really not sure? I wanted to draw more before I posted, but i'm blank...
if you want something out of zbrush to have soft normals you need to use the FBX pluggin and make sure to select the soft normal box. I would recommend passing the mesh trough maya before going UE4 tho, as you will want to name your materials and UVs and those tasks cant be done on zbrush.
