Hmm.. maybe if you mash them together in creative ways it'll be seen as artistic interpretation and creation of something new, therefore not infringing on copyright? but I don't speak legalese. Always interesting to read this stuff, and I'd love a peek at the textures as well..
Blinx the Time Sweeper Click Realtime HERE! Here's my final take for Blinx and entry for Retrogasm2018! I enjoyed and learned alot during its creative process, aand~ love its final output on experimenting a style suits Blinx's character.
You have given to me what I'd consider cake. Thank you so much for this detailed and creative reference. It's one of the many ways I choose to remember...I'm sure a lot of other people do the same. Thank you, PyreZern!
Damn, I remember seeing their seminar on how they made Pure back in Animex 09. Real nice people, passionate too. Just no room for creativity or risks in the industry anymore :/ unless you're indie and low budget. Best of luck to those affected :(
Hi Resistant, I have just uploaded a new version of XformUV (2.8). This version fixes some GUI problems with the QT interface of Maya 2011-2013. You can download it here: Creative Crash or here: sdv_xformUV_v2.8.zip Cheers, Stefan
Batman Begins Ninja batman I think you could get some inspriation from that http://alformer259.files.wordpress.com/2009/11/picture36656.jpg I love assissins creed I just think you could be a little more creative.
http://macerart.blogspot.co.uk/ I made a blog for that breakdown you requested Hayden, it's got some renders in it and just a general runthrough of the creative process. Though, to be honest it could never look this good without the help of you guys on Polycount, so thanks again :)
I would agree with the statement that if possible, it would be great for you to post practical examples of these problematic cases. It would benefit everyone, and could even lead to new creative solutions - much more so than merely discussing the theory behind it all :)
I think there is still hope for side scrollers...if there is still a sprinkle of creativity left in the game industry. I'd like to make one. Or a really cool mod-able fighter. Imagine designing your own fighter characters, and kickin your friends' asses.
You've been naughty all year what gives!? Just wait till you open the case and find out its a Blu-Ray DVD of Fame. Santa isn't slipping up, he's getting creative. Grats, hope you enjoy it!
