Between Max crashing and Zbrush crashing (I lost all of the color info except for the layer I was currently working on) this is as far as I got in 3 days. If I hadnt run into those 2 crashes I probably could have gotten done on time lol. Oh well, you live and you learn! -
Re: Short games
i dont buy games that are short and have zero replay value. (exception : i want to look at the art, then i snatch them on a steam sale and "play" them for 1-2hours) but usually iam looking for games which can keep me entertained for some time. mostly multiplayer or things like civilisation type of games. -

Hah, hadn't thought of it like that, it supposed to symbolise hope, rays of light etc. at least that's what I was thinking when I made it. Yeh I know, cheesy but I couldn't think of any symbol that would give meaning to gcmax except for an led meter readout (max) which ended up looking crap :p -

I think that's it. The city itself looks OK but the weirdness comes from the ambience, there being only like 2 unique NPCs, reskinned and all wearing the same 1940s style attire; also the fact that there's no cars except taxis, making very scripted turns. I guess they needed to showcase that part of the game since it's… -

Nvidia is still safer to choose. They just tend to work properly all the time. I've had many examples of ATi cards acting up with my shader in Max, while every single GeForce worked fine with it (except for Rasmus' 6100 :p ). There's probably more cases where ATi has problems with certain things. -

Great work. Really nice level of detail, nothing much to crit except maybe it took me a few seconds to realize he had hooves for feet. Cant help but feel the hair on his hooves should continue up his legs some more. But thats probably nitpicking/personal preference. Still great execution. -

I'd move to Montreal ASAP if you're interested in becoming one of the 500 "permanent staff". If you know how Canadian subsidies work, they'll will prioritize Quebecois residents first (maybe with a bias towards non bi-linguals). Only exceptions I'd think would be Sergio's handpicked staff and other senior level… -

^^ Except that, having your home taken by a bank while you're grieving over you dead husband, for reasons stated as "you're late on your fee's" is much worse then any stupid game EA might release. Just saying, don't call something shit unless you have tasted some serious shit. -
