Quixel did a lot of their communication and support via Facebook, maybe they still do. I see updates and news from Allegorithmic, but I don't use FB to get their news. Not that this matters too much. Personally I recommend Substance over Quixel, I find it's a much more powerful and wider tool of the two. -

I watched the tutorial two days ago, Pretty nice work you got there, found it real interesting. Just had a little bit of trouble to understand how come your specular was not all boosted. You used pretty bright specular and if I do the same it's way too bright on my characters -

I know it's probably just a test but I would be careful if I were you placing the mirror somewhere else to avoid loading the same side of the picture too much. In this screenshot my eyes go in circle between the two objects and don't even watch the rest of the picture. lol, nice one Scott! -

The wear is just too consistent and not very believable. I would make most of the wear a lot more subtle and have some wear in less predictable areas. Things like scratches and dents. Also I would add a small lip at the seam between the two material shifts. It feels very unintentional/ unfinished as is. -

Two critiques. The blood looks good on the metal but feels almost cartoony on the yellow. Also, the writing looks as if it were spray painted on but it's way too small and clean unless someone took the time to stencil it, which feels unlikely. I think it would look better if you emulated how a sharpy might write. -

loved it, but two things i didn't like, the ending could have been better, dragged on too long and wasn't particularly epic and not enough variety in weapons, three variations on the blades and the gloves... would have liked a bit more. looks amazing though, will start my chaos mode play through soon -

The normal map on your barrel still feels too noisy over the painted parts, and as for the crate have you thought of taking one or two of those nails and actually modeling them out? It could add variety as well and a more unique silhouette. Are you going for PBR or just staying with diff, spec and norm? -

link's still broken, but I did see the movie. It was very possibly the best movie I've had the pleasure of seeing in my short time on this earth ^_^ This is also one of two movies that I was completely satisfied paying 20 dollars to see (ticket for the gal, too). Not that I'm wholly adverse too individuals or company entities promoting pipeline tools, which might be viable to integrate into ones workflow but further research indicates Anvil Interactive Solutions leverages AI support developing their product. Now as for myself again neither here nor there what others choose to work… -
