I'm not voting, but the left hand is directly wired to the right brain, which houses most creative functions. The problem with that is you'd have to supply him left handed pencils and paintbrushes...not an easy chore.
I can't really comment on the design functionality of the soldiers gear, but it looks pretty tight. Watch out with the length of his arms though, they both seem quite a bit shorter than they should be.
To at least have some sort of function, might want to widen the base and arrange some rocks around it, it just oddly stands out too much. Some growth on it would do fine.
I don't have any of that functionality in my 'pen tablet properties' application, which I believe is still what the wacom site tells me is what my tablet needs to use. :(
So THATS what it is! Thanks for posting about this, this is actually a much better solution. I never liked the old system, was happy the removed the functionality, didnt know they implemented it in another way though :)
Alt+Smooth works fairly well. Its not perfect as Unleashed mentioned, but its functional. It actually exaggerates larger details pretty well. Just go to a lower subD and use a bigger brush.
Ah, sorry, I had gotten kinda used to the click-to-zoom functions on some pixelart forums. Here they are at 200%: Sizewise, they'll be about 1/6 the height of a DS screen (32px).
As expected, it was very informative and high quality. I really like that the instructor doesn't skip functions or using hotkeys without telling you which one he uses etc. I'm satisfied.
I don't have that book, but what exactly does it call for that you want to do? Are you sure you have to use Maxscript? The functions you want might be already built in to Max...
Yea im totally confused n how this weapon will even function. Is it projectile based? where do you hold it? Take into consideration on how an actual designer would design a gun in the future.
