The atmopshere is great, but you could really work on making the lighting more dramatic, and maybe get some color variation into the grass. I love the flower pedals flying around, very nice touch!
this is looking great. i really like the idea as well. i think maybe adding some color would help. like orange flowers maybe. just so its not all green and brown.
Love everything from the roof on up, but the yellow paint and detail on the purple flowers hanging below it just seems way too high frequency compared to the rest. Kind of throws off the balance of the piece.
I graduated in scientific illustration in 1996 (or it might have been '97), not sure now. I did an animation of a flower for one of my final projects, but win 95 crashed as the moderator was coming round:)
@radioactivebritt I'm loving your flower centerpiece and the way you are using a river as the dividing element. It definitely bridges what I would imagine to be the landscape outside the temple and injects it quite well into the structure.

Thanks for the answer! The concrete is not a tiling texture, it's several concrete panels! With the future props and vertex blending I guess that it will not be obvious like it is right now! For the ivy , I'll quote my first post :D ''-plants (hanging from metal grid on the walls, in homemade flower pots etc)'' I'll do…
Thanks for the comments Toomas. You're right about the nose. I allways found that painting skin (especially the face) is very difficult. About the arm: yeah, it looks twisted. The arm isn't curved, but I really messed up the composition. The elbow is cropped from the image and the clothes aren't helping indeed. I will try…
Hi, just posting a quick concept of my next model. It is a concept I drew of a banana tree. I want to make it stylized with painted textures and looking to model it stylized exagerating proportions of the bananas and flower to show its a banana tree in game. I am going to start off with the stock and maybe instance two…
looking good but i would change the color of the bioluminescent flowers. right now they are producing the same color light as the sunlight making the plants look like artificial constructs. natural bioluminescence doesn't produce the same color light as the sun. also your flowers have broad leaves which would be useless…
