Everything about this is awesome except...miatas? I'm planning out a small photogrammetry rig right now for scanning plastic models. I want to use a stepper motor to rotate the model within a sphere of LEDs. Still considering how I'm going to diffuse the LEDs and some other potential technical problems.
I'm with Asherr this year. I can't think anything I'd really like for this year which makes me proud lol well, perhaps if my university allowed me to stay 6 more months on Poland... except that I just hope my people save their money and don't buy me garbage.
Amazing work. Too many people are mastering hard surface sculpting in zBrush for me to skip learning it in favor of using Maya for this part. I guess as soon as I get my soft materials skills to an exceptable level, I will have to make a push for those. I should get my hands on that tutorial.
Congrats man. I picked it up. It's only $10 I think right now. Totally a blast to play. It's not even DLC d1ver. It's actually just a one off. Really well done though I think. It's comparable to the Red Dead Zombies deal. Except vampires, and parkour if either of those are your deal.
This is looking a helluva lot better! You may wanna relax the vertical edge loops on the forehead though. Try to keep spacing even in organic models (except where it will deform a bit). Even topology also helps a ton when zbrushing. You're redeeming yourself a bit here, so keep it up mate.
I know they are two different things  I don't follow, except near the end; then again maybe I did get it  I believe I understand, it was the quote I read regarding occlusion in diffuse which I thought, I never used occlusion in my diffuse maps !
oh nice some JordanN sperging ! i missed this. Also i love u @danr Jordan, when you were "downloading and reading game art" on your cellphone and not taking breaks thats the same as procrastinating, except you are doing it at a job. Doing art is different than reading shit\ "gathering references"...
http://www.speedyshare.com/cQkFT/scottupload2.zip Let me know if you can't get the file. Tangents and binormals are intact. The fish was made with the ProOptimizer modifier so it wasn't really "mirrored" except earlier in the process as a high poly. Thanks Edit: I changed the link, the first one had shortcuts, not real…
Almost all your models are vertical, yet the homepage uses horizontal thumbnails. Why? Using vertical thumbs would make them much more informative. Also, your site is very very grey. Everything is grey, except the wireframe - which is precisely the one thing I'd advise to keep black or grey.
the Killswitch song is actually pretty fun except for the last minute (same 3 notes OVER AND OVER). and yeah. the metal gives major cramps. Going now to cancel my GS pre-order and get my cash back since I just called meijer and they say they have some in stock for midnight.
