Sean, you definately earned that. It looks fantastic in the engine. I love the pants, boots and face! I'm not such a big fan of the arms though... They have no details Great job on those ladies, modelling man! Good stuff

ledger and eckart stole the show... i also felt batman almost played a secondary role. the movie definately kicked alot of ass though. one of the few movies i wasn't upset with paying $10 to see
Awww yeah! That's very nice. Your texturing is solid. The textures are crisp and clean, with a well defined style. It looks like your project is really shaping up. I'll have to take a closer look at the game itself.
Whoa. Excellent work! I would probably have hitched up the pant legs a bit. Too short pants would definately suit him, if for no other reason than to show off his lovely boots.
ive modeled this way for years, way back in 3ds max 3.1 i started like this , so defining organic shapes is easyer ... i start with a profile row of edges , and extrude strips off of that .. and curve round ...
This would be my first high-/lowpoly model and I found no polygon budget for the lowpoly weapon. If there is no polygon restiction defined in this contest, what would be your rule of thumb for 1st person view / 3rd person weapon?
It's probably down to the apps using different triangulation algorithms. Next time triangulate the model before export. This time, if its only a few faces you can probably fix it by rotating hidden edges / explicitly defining triangulation
Thanks alot for the help! I still couldnt ge the result i wanted through Arnold so I opted for zbrush/photoshop in the interest of time. I will definately get back on it and learn the ropes down the line though.
Shapes are too soft, everything looks like blobs. Make sure everything is defined before moving on to detailing. Go through each piece of clothing and do a pass or two on them. Just focusing on each. Good luck!
