Thanks for posting up your texturing methods, I definitely learned a thing or two there! Using the edge finding filter on the normal for doing edge highlights works brilliantly! The model is gorgeous too, had to do a double-take the first time as I thought you'd posted up a reference photo :p

You'd usually get a half model or a skin or two for 1.5k I guess it depends of your definition of quality and 'fairly skilled artist' and finding the right people. There's a lot of unemployed talent working on non paying projects, those would be sure interested i suppose. Paid freelancers wouldn't be too interested.
you didn't try other buttons? you've got stun and dodge on your other two face buttons and you can throw batarangs while in combat too. sure you can just spam attack, but that removes all the the fun of building a combo and leaping across a room to kick a guy in the nuts.

Overlapping or flipped uv's ? Would be a problem with the lightracer especially. Does the normalmap have the same errors? Are two models lying exactly on top of each other ? I hate sleep apnea and paralysis, it's freaky as hell! Yet if I have sleep apnea I guess that's because of the strong tongue factor - which girls like. I somehow enjoy the hypnic jerk thing tho. Maybe because of that strange feeling of being at the edge right inbetween two worlds...
