yeah, the sketch sucks, the torso was stupidly wide too, drawing is usually hit or miss with me. I started modeling a head but I don't like how it looks, we'll see what happens tonight.

I am a fan of 3, but 8 has a cool looking piece on it's chest. Even though I like 3 though I think it needs to be expanded upon with more sketches before moving on with modeling
I did a quick sketch for you. Watch your base proportions. Especially with the ear placement. Another thing is the space between his the eye and the edge of the face is too large. It's all in the picture anyway, Cheers.
3 ppls at this stage i've done all the 3d bits you've seen (besides udk stuff) and the early concepts, chris2009 is doin the scriptin, justs doin some more fleshed out robot sketches
@Shotgun yeah concepts are not final so i guess i might change some stuff during the process but yes u r right. Update: Rough sketch of the basemesh and did a clean topology for sculpting.
I think I prefer the more angular design of the top image. Also would be nice to see some interior sketches. Currently its more of a cool picture rather than a concept for a full level.
also would be interested in seeing concept for the weapon, hard to crit if you have no idea what the person is going for in the first place. If there isnt a concept sketch one out or do a paintover of your model. -woog
Hey, I'm up for it.. Alternating between sketching and getting hammered sounds pretty fun.. As for your folio, it looks good, but dont be afraid to post and get some critiques on individual pieces. It really helps, methinks..
