My interview at CA was about an hour at most, with art lead + principal artist and then creative director aswell when things seemed to go well. 8 hours just seems insane, I'm with Rick here.
whatever happened it is totally unfortunate, but the Final quality of artwork you served here is awesome. I can see the creativity and quality in it. keep up the great work and keep inspire us with another great work...
Awesome! Congratulations! You have one hell of a cute kid, and she's still in the "weird alien only my parents think I'm cute" stage. Passing on the creative mojo already huh? =P Congratulations!
holy crap! looks amazing! I'm tempted to say it's a shame to have to have those generic microsoft dudes driving as I get the feeling you would have been much more creative with characters :]
after reading this thread and making my most recent post i went to creative crash to download some uv tools and i just downloaded this exact tool before looking back at this thread lol
oh did KP soemone already link this. i thought it might be the case, but its the first time I have seen it. makes me feel a bit schizo looking at it , but very creative stuff anyway
My compy is pretty old too: p4 1.8ghz 512mb ram geforce fx5200 and the almighty sound card: creative vibra 128 So, I'm hopefully completing my new computer next week.
But which studio is it? The list for Eugene Oregon includes: Buzz Monkey Software ETC Interactive Fireline Interactive, LLC Free Form Digital GarageGames Lambo Creative Pipeworks Software, Inc. Tesseraction Games, Inc.
You should always show a company your strongest side, even though its not directly focused onto what they are looking for. If it show's you have artistic skills or a creative mind then it can never hurt.
Found this little gem over at gamedev. Arguably funner than Unreal 2007 and better creative direction too! http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=467483 It's only an alpha build though, so if you tab away it will crash.
