For future reference: these are things you think about before modeling a full highpoly. Just modeling three different strups would have been a bunch faster.

"burn MGS to the ground" is likely a reference to all future MGS games being mobile titles and crappy spin off gambling games. I think that's equivalent.
This is really cool, love the concept of this project. I am teaching myself a bunch of these specific skills at the moment, so any future blog posts are much appreciated!
People will tend to help and stick around if the proj will be completed in foreseeable future. (We will ship the game in 8 months, and here's how we gonna make that happen.)
