There are no official docs for cameras/keyframes at this time. Keyframing camera rotation can be a bit funky because of technical reasons. my maxstart file has my windows and grid setup organized into 3 little windows, 1 large, grid units 16/8/8 generic units, snapping on, resize of grid ok on all views bar perspective.
