I think the hold after the first uppercut is a tad too long. If he sent a character into the air with that first uppercut, with cartoony timing that character could be travelling upwards pretty fast so I think he could move into the second uppercut quiet quickly. Other than that it's reading pretty well. Pretty solid…
Hey, Thanks man. Yeh I’m using the foliage painter. The light
maps I done really quickly just so I wasn’t getting any errors when building
lights. So I’ll have to go back and pack them properly at some point but the
results I’m getting so far is quite good. Thanks,
No. DDo is for making diffuse (and some other) maps quickly. You can use your baked maps/mesh in it. NDo is for making only normal maps. You can load your baked normalmap into it and you can add more details, or you can make one from scratch. One can totally work without the another.
I'm thinking about doing some stuff for Leshrac this month, since he is a pretty forgotten hero cosmetic-wise. Trying to do a tail different from his current ones, here's something I quickly put together in about 5min: Probably going to change the shape a bit, since I think it's too girly for him.
I really gotta start updating this more regularly. :\ Playing around with zsketch. I didn't really give zsketching a fair trial when it was first introduced, and wrote it off pretty quickly. I still greatly prefer working from a basemesh, but I was able to get some nice forms in this last doodle after a little trial and…
just some thoughts on the three: Printed portfolios can be the most memorable. business cards are great for finding folks on the long term. resumes are quickly lost in the stacks of things to read over the week. Just keep in mind how hectic shows can be so try to be brief and memorable. Swizzle has a good point about the…
I haven't seen Avatar sorry, might have to look up those episodes though :) but he is in a cave. I decided that I wanted Yorick to take up more of the composition space, so I just quickly cropped the image and I haven't drawn in the background properly again, it will be back though :) Thanks for the feedback. It's much…
Thank you for posting! What you might want to try, instead of a ambitious 2 min short, start small, do a walk cylce and post it up on here, that way it somthing you can do quick and get feedback on quickly thus shortening your learning curve! Good luck man, cant wait to see more!
http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2010/03/steam-mac/ April! Glad they are going with the native approach. Emulation sucks so bad. Good news for mac gaming. Portal2 should make good use of the beef inside this iMac but I'm really hoping that Orange Box will make an appearance quickly. Feel I've really missed out on TF2.
