You aren't using XP are you by chance? I just installed the updates from this week, and had exactly what you experienced with an ATI card, except it didnt recover. The machine was still functional since I could hear the music. Attempting newer ati drivers now. -

I watched it awhile back, it looks great except player/npc animations which are not blending with each other too well, looks like there's no IK even (the guy slides down the stairs :S). I guess after gtaiv you cant exactly get back to playboy. -

I save frequently ...but I do get in the zone from time to time and forget to save for 4 hours. They call it "flow". It's awesome... except when you crash afterward. Do yourself a favor though ...pop the button right out of the keyboard or find the software setting to disable it. -

Fuse, yeah checked that one out after I posted this, works great except you can only randomize the spacing, no even spacing? THNKR Position along curve is shit, puts the objects only at the cv points. I need a tool that spaces them out evenly. -

stack some planes inside the box with the bullet texture on it with some alpha to fake the layers of bullets and slight UV ofset between each plane, should work better than what you have now and wouldnt require any rework except adding alpha and a few tris -

Oxy: The standards would be opensource and available to all who choose to implement them. As for people not accepting critism and being lazy. Not much you can do about that, except find a better recruiting staff. In the end, it all shows how this business is still in its infancy. Or, the beginning of the end. -
Re: Modeling with a Pen rather than a Mouse
I have my mouse button to use the wheel, but I never liked it, except with silo. I guess I wouldn't mind Maya as well since the navigation is the same. I guess it's a matter of practice, I feel I don't have the same amount of precision with the pen.
