TerriakyStyle is right! sharpen those pencils or change your wacom nibs! here's small sketch to pass on some inspiration this awesome thread has given me. EDIT: Thanks guys for setting this up!
Pencil is the only medium that gives you a total freedom on subject/forms/proportions etc.. That's my opinion and that's why I am actually studying hard to overcome my actual poor sketching skills...
Looking decent. Lighting definitely helps sell it. This would greatly improve with an additional bust. Can you show us your sketches so we can give feedback on your concept designs?
What a fun new theme :DD I can already tell that I'm going to make several ones for this just cause there are so many possibilities!! Here's an apple I sketched out quickly
Awesome Eric. Can't wait to see what you guys do. Myself... i'll bow out this year. I'm not going to pretend I'll even get close to doing a sketch a day. Will be watching!
Sure @EricThomasStudios Wht i mean by breakdowns is, show us your wire frame, and some texture sheets. Sketch fab models and videos are nice, butihonestly think pics work way better.
I started my next 3D project, Pandora's Box, today. I got through the first round of low-poly modeling for it, based on a concept sketch I did a few days ago.
Hi! This is a very nice idea, your first sketches are interesting. I like the colors. I feel like the Disney Aladdin movies could be a nice reference to see how they stylized things. Following! :)
Caricature Artist at a theme park. I'm sketching all the time to work up to that when I retire. If my hands combust and I cannot use them then probably get a job kicking stuff.
I have no idea how I missed that! That's like walk cycle 101! So I added more movement to the arms and offset along with fixing the motion. https://syncsketch.com/sketch/152168#192088
