I have a similar question. Is there any other software like Marmoset for previewing models/making them look good? Like a condensed version of UDK for previewing stuff?
I'm working on my website. And reposed and rendered this one out. Character is subd with custom rig and handpainted diffuse textures. rendered in marmoset 2 Hope you like :)
Mmm.. Never can be easy for us. Does anyone know of a listing of what the most popular engines require? Fwiw my particular case would be Marmoset or Crytek.
Progress! Slightly edited normal map, specular map, and a rough diffuse map in Marmoset. Starting to look pretty good, I think! Will be excited to move on soon, haha.
Thanks, I take only 0,09% of specular in marmoset so i could be reason of low specular. http://wiki.polycount.com/Normal%20M....26_Hard_Edges - it's really useful, thanks ;)
Hey guys Here is an update of the scene :) Learnt a lot from substance designer, substance painter, marvelous designer, UE4 and marmoset toolbag 3. It's has been awesome!
Here is the latest thing I've been chipping away on my free time :) see more shots, marmoset viewer and artworks here :) https://www.artstation.com/artwork/VEk6X
thanks for the feedback i will work on that next, also for the windshield im currently using marmoset for my glass, how would i go about adding the dirt/dust to that?
I tend to create game ready models and importing them in marmoset, which I get pretty good results. But if I wanted a beauty render, what is the difference?
