Thanks DCB. I can give the body another look before continuing with the clothing. Do you know of any images that show plane structure for the whole body, like the image you sent me with the face planes?
this is way cool, man! I'm glad you came back to it I agree about the potbelliness/beltline. I'd love to know how you did dem rox :) and are you gonna continue them down the back some?
Small update: After thinking it over some parts were really unnecessary to keep as one continuous mesh, especially the back wall, lamps & buttons. Seems more logical this way. @CandyStripes05 Thanks for the heads up and input!
Finally got a time today to do some progress for this rifle! First texture pass on the wooden stock and top hand guard. Next probably will start building the base metal parts before continue tweaking the wood texture.
The stock and receiver should align and not have as noticeable a bump, see ref Otherwise the model looks fairly well done, although the render is too small to pick on small details. You should continue on to the bake and texturing stages.
Hi , I think it's not a bad start and you have to continue on that direction. But be careful to don't flood the forum with your post "-" . I know you want review and you want to highlight your project but be careful with that. Keep it up ;)
Wow, all that hype, all that production time and outsourcing to awesome studios like Massive Black, all the promised goodness by the ex-Blizzard team, and now... it sucks balls? God damn, the wait for a Diablo II replacement continues. :/
another character, in a similarly grim episode, drove his teacher to have a nervous breakdown by continually forgetting to bring in some egg-shells to make a diorama. if i could do an impression of the teacher in text, you'd get it immediately
It's sad really. Silo has so much potential and some great innovations, yet the lack of bug fixes and the developers apparent lack of support or caring really scared me off of it. Hopefully they will continue the development of Silo in the future.
not always. i found out that if i am continuing from another curve then it only draws curve on the painting side and the symmetry gets broken. notice that the small orange circle that indicates connecting is only on one side too.
