That's what i would have recommended. You said 24 inch but on Amazon it says 27'' at 1440p which is the right choice between size and resolution in regards to UI's as well as gaming.
Finally finished with corrections and rework. All in all it turned out 45 meshes and 27 decals. A little bit of the master material, now you can more accurately adjust the roughness.

If you want a really nice high resolution high quality panel, and are willing to risk getting a cheap stand and possible dead pixels, try getting a 27" Inch Crossover 27Q from ebay. They are around $380, 2560x1440.
Hmm, Warren, could you toss out a link to the one you use? And ya, I'm on a Intous Pro Large with a 27" 1440P screen. Perfect for modeling/sculpting/texturing. I rarely use my mouse now.
