What makes the reference images very appealing that is missing a bit from your scene is the exposed ceiling elements and all the pipes. I think the addition of those would go a long way.
Additionally there's a box in the bottom left that shows a file explorer, this shows where you might be looking for textures from, if you have a sub element selected it'll limit results to just that package.
it looks impressive, my crit is that for me there is no where for my eyes to rest or focus. Im thinking some atmospheric fog or steam to cover some background elements partially would maybe work.
Nice pose Bruts! It would be great if you add small element to strengthen your storytelling. Maybe some claw mark on the tree or wound in her waist. Keep the good job!
same answer really. masked tiling detail maps on characters are pretty common. as is doing highly detailed parts like hair as a separate element from the base texture. no more blurry eyebrows. :)
Looks cool. Would like to have seen some variation in the values of the metal across the different elements, maybe even different materials/surface properties, but still a nice model and a sweet concept!
Great presentation and scenes. The overall feeling presented is great. Love the music. The individual elements in the scenes could certainly use some refining though. 3d stills are a must for 3d modeling jobs.
Yeah I planned to keep the look in the warmer side of things. But yes like you said it does lack the contrast elements. May be I'll try playing with the light. Thanks for the comment OKelvin! I'll definitely keep that thing in mind.
I think if the object stood on some lighter surface, for example on the floor, and a shadow would fall from it, it would look better. You can also darken the color of some elements. For example like here:
A game model of an alien-reptilian creature with elements of different animals such as canine, bearded dragon, porcupine and frigate bird. I feel as though the textures are missing something but I haven't quite worked out what that is yet. Using Substance Painter.
