Like always, IT DEPENDS Just google around, see what game developers blog about and get inspired. Just today for example:* Blur showed some of their deformation debugging stuff http://www.gametrailers.com/video/bizarre-creations-blur/62635 (1:10 for example, they seem to use some kind of array of dots or sphere volumes to…
Development on both Beast and Turtle continue, as they're basically sister products and share a lot of underlying code (liquidlight, it used to be called). What you want to do OP is make sure all the input meshes are selected (all the hp bits, including floaters), and select the LP as the output. The important part is the…
Yeah, you're not going to get very far trying to make 3D models with 2D applications. You could try this http://www.123dapp.com/catch but you'd need way more than 3 pictures. Or you could learn a 3D program like Blender. I'd recommend Blender since it's free and there's no need to pay thousands of dollars to model 1 chair.

I remember watching a series of 5-6 videos on the old Autodesk AREA site, can't seem to find them anymore. But in the video one of the developers showed how they did the faces for the crowds in one of the Assassin's Creed games (can't remember which one, but probably Brotherhood or the second one) but they basically had 1…
