Yes, and I have them set to the defaults. 16 units for translates. Its jumping way more than 16, its jumping like 100 at least, and its very fast and annoying.
Its actually better to learn the xsi controls, the keyboard short cuts and hot keys are amazing how they are set up in the default layout, and using the maya ones just cover them up.

The RTT adds an own Unwrap UVW Modifier by default, set to 'Flatten Mapping'. If you want to use an existing one, you have to check the checkbox and specify the Map Channel (presumably 1).

It's confusing to me that tuk tuk and powerlines are presented in Unreal, but the scene they are in, Shanty Scene, is not. Same goes for the camera and the pickman's scene. It's a bit of a let down to see them render in default max rendering.
I appreciate the fact that you've taken the time to import some of your models into various game engines! It's a nice change from the default t-pose presentation of 99% of the websites out there! Kudos!
thanks a lot again to everyone. Striff i am using default max lights in scanline. here are the specs, house is 7811 tris, tree is 1648 tris and dead tree is 486 tris.
Mop: It's a toggle called "Trackball Rotation" found in the display properties menu for each viewport. I think it is the default navigation state in modo, but easy enough to turn off if you don't like it.
