It's two months and two builds later and it just happened to me. Not cool, man. Software crashing should not render the software or the current file useless after the crash. Thanks! I use unity because its what I use at the studio I work at. We've been eyeing Unreal for years obviously- and I come from a vfx / film background so its even more tempting to me. We make a lot of training simulation stuff and our programmers / engineers prefer Unity. -

Unity Once you are experienced enough and have solid development skills its just amazing what power the engine gives right into your hands. Dont understand me wrong, this will be the same for Unreal and many other engines, but as said its the level of specialized experience with such complex beasts thats important. And… -

I've made some improvements to level 1 by adding some things in the background as it looked quite bare, I also played with post processing inside unity to improve the look of it. Specifically colour grading and bloom for the glowing effects where emission is I've also blocked out level 2 in unity and started the top part… -

Thanks for your answer Jerc :) It's for a game in Unity that mean yes it will be real time performance limitations like any game, it's not for a movie like Adam (Tech Demo in Unity ) But a game AA indie with great graphics or AAA like last of us 2013 environments then should i go with 1 or 2 texture set? work has started on the low poly model. I added a subtle specular map...maybe too subtle? I still need to make a detail pass and adjust the contrast.
