haha love it your art kind of reminds me of Genndy Tartakovsky's cartoons. Not so much in style but in that they're simultaneously ridiculous, cartoony and badass. Also why you make such great castle crashes fan art :)
So i started buying and gifting original art pieces lately, no crazy expensive stuff but production drawings from various cartoon or anime shows. Fedex just lost 4 of those. Some of them dating to the 70ies. Can't really claim the money back as the seller put the value to minimum needed And its really not about the money,…
bbob, please tell me this is going to be part of the kartoon kraut and toony tommy set you're doing, and maybe a little cartoon ruski :poly136:. I know you're going for accuracy on the plane, but it just has the perfect feel for them--to me anyways :D
I loved this cartoon but it did not last. You may want to go a more stylized cartoony route with this character. The proportions are Too accurate unlike the actual character. take a look at this guys proportions http://nicolasgarilhe.com/images/phocagallery/Comiccon2010/thumbs/phoca_thumb_l_constructionshot.jpg Good luck
Ahoy! I'm starting up a blog about FPSes called Breadshot. I want to generate some branding art of different types of bread toting and firing guns. Open to all styles and formats — 2D or 3D — from youthful to grittier and weirdly serious, but the art should be playful. Output: * 3-8 standalone character illustrations on…
Haha, as lame as it sounds. I recently came across some concept stuff for a less cartoony version of Pok'e'mon I thought was pretty sick. Maybe something like this, or re-shaping older cartoons or stories into a more realistic model. But then again, low-poly may not be the best for this. But still! Charizards, yo.
It was JordanN and it was not really cartoony pbr, it was basically just verbal diarrhea. We lean heavily towards leniency, but this was a sustained burden. https://polycount.com/discussion/154329/physically-based-3d-cartoon-art/p1 My feeling is PBR is merely a tool, not a style. Like, would you call diffuse-specular a…
Hey Gallamaji, I feel like if you enjoy making low poly and cartoony assets and environments definitely put that on your portfolio. I don't think it's bad to have some realistic stuff on your portfolio, but if you do it wouldn't hurt to have it divided between cartoon & realistic.
what we mean is that since it is a cartoony style ( and very well achieved - well done ) but a shader is what makes it look good..hey...its a cartoon after all... make something like this p.s - just a quick search on google thou... looking forward to see a charizard lol ( my fav )
Character is from Wakfu, the cartoon by the makers of the MMORPG Dofus : Since it's a very cartoony character I didn't add so many wrinkles and textures. Also thanks for the critique and links. I must confess that save for the shovel and base, I sculpted him out of a sphere, which might not me so moutch of good idea...
