Question about putting fan art in your portfolio
I'm putting together my reel and I was wondering if it's a good idea or not to put a 3D model I did of a ship from a show. During my class over the fall, I did a 3D model of the Planet Express ship from Futurama and was quite happy with how it came out. Is it bad for me to put this into my reel to send for internships? Hey, Exotronic, thanks! I'm deviating from the concept already, just taking a slightly different direction, all fun ;] Redesigned the lower part in 3d, quite exciting! Haven't done a lot of hard surface sculpting, so it's fun to see how well zbrush can handle it. -

Been playing this for the last couple of days, it's great non-stop fun. Still could do with a bit of polish and tweaks, but the game is just pure great fun when it comes down to it. The team-objective mode is what i've enjoyed the most, but straight up deathmatch is also good. -

If I wanted a story I would read a book. It's the gameplay that is the interesting part. I don't care if ts a badly written as xena warrior princess or hercules as long as its fun to play The first gears was kind of fun, but It crashed a bit and would keep losing my profile. -

I think the character animation is the most impressive thing. Visually it's pretty much the same as MW2, which is good but not as good as other titles. Gameplay is where it excels, though. MW1 was really fun (albeit short), so I have faith MW2 will be just as much, if not more fun. :)
