but like I said if you select everything can you see the selection bounding box within the view or is it extending beyond that? Aka do you have some verts somewhere outside that view?
The problem has returned. When selecting a garment (literally clicking on it in the 3d viewport) nothing will be selected or an entirely different object. It's driving me crazy. The "W"-Key quick pin also doesn't work.
Perhaps try selecting everything (go to an orthographic view alt-drag, IIRC, and select everything) then copy everything, delete everything, and then paste what's in your clipboard, and then rebuild all. Maybe that'll work.
Or you can avoid this usually by hitting "Z" with the object you wanna zoom in on selected - it will zoom all viewports to fit the object in, then you can pan/rotate/zoom with the selected object as the "focus point".
When Select Contiguous Edges stops working, all ya have to do is open Selection Constraints... and hit the Close and Reset button. You can map that function to a hot key for an automagical fix.
Hey i'm making a custom toolbar to replace my main toolbar. and wanted a way to make the pull down buttons (how the selection region pulldown lets you choose difrent types of selections) anyone know a way to create these type of buttons?
when you extrudeface go to popup, top right corner icon click it > in the drop down select copy attributes. then do another extrude> click the same icon but this time select paste attributes.
Select the most left vertical row of UV's,then In the uv Editor,go Polygons-->Unfold-->Optionbox,then be sure to tick PinUV's(pin selected),and in this case use a vertival constraint, then hit Apply.Have a fiddle with it basically.
Ah... "Shift+S" then select "Snap to Grid" (or menu "Mesh > Snap > [selection]"). You can also manually align something using "Transform" Properties ("N" - the very top set of XYZ coordinates)
ehmm... no need to do a script for that. Just apply a UVW Mapping modifier and select "Face" instead of "Planar". Edit: Additionally, you can collapse that. Open the UVW Unwrap. Select all faces and "Relax".
