EQ: Why don't you just use two edges at each peak and valley instead of one central edge with support edges? Wouldn't that eliminate the pinching? I think the reason it's pinching is that the geometry is just too sharp.
yup its the uvs. my bad. I forgot to turn on check flipped faces (oh damn i spoke too soon, the uvs are proper. but nrm is still the same. and yes two side lighting is turn off)

Look promising , keep going .Two things that caught my eye : nipples are too far apart [~head distance between] and scapula please check your bony landmarks that relate to scapula and how muscle attach to them

This sounds bad but do you drink a lot of booze, slip? I've had similar symptoms when partying a bit too hard while vacationing with friends in the past, and a quick googling seems to confirm that the two can be related.

These are really cool! Love the details and colors! Are these high poly sculpt with polypaint or are they low poly assets with normal maps? I'd love to see the wireframe on these two bad boys. Your environment work is really amazing too by the way!
Here's two quick renders, although I don't think that they are going to be too much help. The mesh is medium poly and so has quite a high count. Maybe I should apply the map to a plane to better illustrate it?
