Wonderful! Edit: You could make a copy of your Zbrush tool, delete all of the lower subdivisions so that only the highest one remains, then turn on "Add" in the Import rollout of the Tool menu, and import your subdivided 3dsmax geometry... then you'll have a preview of the whole thing, and you can also use that with…
ROFL - awesome image. Jett12 - I can't open it right now as my PC is running out of memory - but I think you can turn up the strength of the bump effect - I think in the same way you can in 3dsmax (though I think you're using maya so that maybe totally meaningless to you. )
Oops. If you want the mesh to match the location of the spline, use the World Space PathDeform modifier, not the Object Space one. OS should put the spline to the mesh location, while WS does the opposite. http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/16/ENU/3ds-Max-Help/files/GUID-47EA2253-C097-434A-82AD-B13E2DE10C6C.htm
PyrZern thanks I'll separate the head. your model looks good but your weapon is really BIG Spoon great job but the shoulder is a little bit small. I used Zbrush for scuplting then made some stuff in 3dsmax BradMyers82 nice start ,I like the head but I think the legs are a little bit big.
Haven't uploaded in a while. So here's the final low poly from the dentist chair. in marmoset 1 in 3dsmax But in the mean time I also finished another project. LowPoly Gun: clean version hope you like it. Atm I'm busy with making a miniexcavator and a level in udk. will be posting soon about them. cheers
When the object floats far away from the character, does it still appear to be attached to the bone? I have no experience with compiling with Maya or Blender, but I know that this is a problem in 3DSMAX when compiling that deals with the object's pivot/hierarchy. You usually have to reset the object's pivot to get it to…
This is how it looks with everything smoothed and baked used xoliul's shader. Used 3dsmax for baking. And i have also looked at cs go's props and i don't think its a problem to add some extra roundness to the corners maybe one less loop then what i have now (in my first lp img)
@DavidCruz Thanks, I've taken a few looks at blender and remain entirely unconvinced- it's nice but trendy things really aren't for everyone. I'm thinking Modo might be more my speed for finally switching to something besides Sketchup, and I'll probably stick with 3dsmax for animating. (Houdini looks awesome but maybe a…
Not sure I understand so bear with me - have you tried changing to Local coordinate system? The default is "View" - see article below for more info. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/3DSMax/files/GUID-0F3E2822-9296-42E5-A572-B600884B07E3-htm.html
Well this MtId baking system is frustating for me or maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anyway I finally did it by exploding entire high poly into pieces, cause it looks like this tool doesn't work with 3dsmax MtlIDs, and in the end I got 35 high poly meshes and 15 low poly meshes for baking.
