The lead building/city artist here at Creative Assembly on Total War used to be an architect. Not sure if it helps but he does make nice buildings! -

I usually read ImagineFX, but that's not really a 3D magazine, more of a Concept/Digital painting one. I find 3D creative to be readable as well. -

If anything it might reduce the need for Chinese type outsourcers and put more creative control to those working In house. That could only be a good thing. -
