try exporting the lowest level back out to max or maya , check the uv map and see if it has been corrupted. This stuff happens sometimes when uv's are too close the edge of your layout
I would bring the front rotors a little more to the front. At the moment the drone looks like they will fell over at the front. Maybe take a look at the V-Tail Rotor Drones, they have a similar layout
haha, dig the art style for it, really simple and clean (my kinda style :P). looks like it's got nice and easy usability and simple layout, cool stuff man (hope it does well :) )
Yeah, if you just add a UV Map or another Unwrap UVW modifier to the stack, bake your textures, then delete/disable the new UV modifiers, your initial UV layout will remain unchanged.
Here's a decent tutorial, this is what a typical UV layout a building should look like. http://www.amc.ro/index.php its under share Gotta repeat most of the textures and have a consistent pixel density.
Update. seemed like a quick fix, assuming i recognized the correct problem areas. but i definetly see an improvement in the layouts so ill try to move on to this method now. [image]http:// [/image]
A couple of shots of the Uv'ing process......coat and braces left to layout as you can see...not been able to do much over the weekend, will probably finish this tomorrow night..hopefully!:) Comments anyone?............ Stub
So, Update. Played with the layout, more attention to detail, more rubble and break down, etc. Still haven't gotten to the props I want to add, but all in due time. Update again later..
use unfold with default settings and rescale 0.1 and then press layout button. U need to be sure if you make your seams first. You also have an option of auto uvwrap in the uv menu.
http://www.gag.org/pegs/index.php Maybe I should set the Guild of webdesigners on the Guild of artists for having such a poorly coded table layout website. Put my guild money to good use damnit!
