In that Tomb Raider image, don't show your reference image that you took from the actual game. I don't mean to be rude but the game image looks better than the one you did and showing the better version after showing yours doesn't leave a good impression. -

You can just attach the alpha output from the image to the opacity slot on the shader. It's the forth output on the image. Some other things: You have to import a image as DXT5 for it to have an alpha channel You have to set the shader blend mode to translucent for full alpha to work -

nice work Colin! the image scrolling works fine on my end, but initial loading is a tiny bit slow ~5-7 seconds. the first image should load almost instantly or no more than 1-2 seconds. it is the first impression. may be compress your images more. -

notman, I got it from aintitcoolnews.com. Really doesn't help in your search for widescreen desktop images, though....unless you want Kong or a T-Rex for your desktop. http://www.aintitcoolnews.com/images/kkt/ I usually just find highres images and make my own. -

Hello there. You can lock the image. press 5 to go into item mode, then press the image so that it is selected, go to edit in the top menu, and press "lock selected" Or select the image (item mode) and press J. Just remember to unlock it in the edit menu. if you want to move/edit it. -

(Do you know if you upload your image onto the site called "Imgur", than you can link the image from there and it will appear properly. I had similar problems and it's just nicer to see the full image on the site rather than a thumbnail.) -

Awesome alternative to dropbox, thanks for this. How is it for hosting images? I know that a lot of people link images from Dropbox as they don't have to deal with too much image compression when showing off larger shots of their work - I'll do a few tests to see how it works out. -
