Hmm I'm on 2.2, I remember I tried your early build on my other thread so maybe I had something left over from that? It didn't work on that other project in case you were wondering. kinda just let it float off into the folder of incomplete works. Maybe a clean reinstall should do it.
It was one sexy ship as highpoly, but textured, it's even better then it already was. Maybe just a tad to desaturated on the camo (but it seems that that is only the case in the xoliul screens),and the effects on the UDK screen hide the model/texture to much. But that might just be me, I almost feel bad saying something…
I know when I sent in my application the destination e-mail folder was full. I tried again later that day and it was fine though. Someone I know at the studio mentioned to me that they had probably gotten many more applications than they had expected. (he wasn't in the art department so couldn't say for sure)
Sorry for the hassles, I worked off and on friday afternoon and then this morning re-edited my favorites in a separate folder and then pasted them over IE favorites, cold shut down and rebooted and it Voila! it held. You can open your 3dsmax.ini (in the base 3dsmax folder) and look for lines like: [MtlEditorPosition] [RenderDialogPosition] The first 2 numbers after those will be the location of the window's top left corner in pixels, X Y. Im going to be in San Fran Wed afternoon to Saturday evening. Speak of portfolio, i do not own an iphone nor psp. So would it be the best if I were to print out shots of my assets and put it in a folder with plastic pages? I figure it'd look kinda lame if I were to walk around with my laptop.
does the cli one work, i never used the gui one i just drag my *.qc onto the cli one, or depending on the 3d package im using i make the smd exporter execute the compiler on export. also have you considered removeing source sdk in steam than deleting all it's folders in steamapps and reinstalling.
Hmm I have firewire cables but connector on hard drive isn't compatible guess you need external case. @Dekard: I can't find that file you mention, do I have to 'look' somewhere for it? Not sure what you mean by root folder, I unhid all my files but couldn't see anything :S
