Ok cool ideas, I'm thinking A roman timescale, with a politically driven and twisted plot. 3'rd person, with "real world" items. think solid snake of that time period, only a bit shorter and less haunted. More emphesis on action than espionage. el.
No spec ops have mg belts on them unless this is a sterner-looking Rambo haha But I would do it too just for the look of it. I'd add more pouches and stuff to him. look at soldier img refs online to get a better idea of item distribution.
Only I who have major input problems during battles? I press block/parry repeately but he only does it like 1/10 times. ´The same with casting a spell or item, it's just random. It's really frustrating and make the game barely playable :(
Yeah I agree, I found myself going back to levels to pick up missed items more than a few times. Beat it a few days ago. It's a short game, but for a platformer I'd say it's about average. Definately worth the price of admission to me.
Speaking of which, without wanting to go too much OT here, what's the average poly count for a weapon on this gen's games? Like Crysis and UT3? (On screen weapons, not level items or enemies weapons) Just asking, cos damn, 11k sounds alot to me!
I believe I am finished. Three and a half days work of high poly model. Having someone look at my model tonight in detail to check out all my geometry. Im pretty proud to call this my second prop item too. :)
for max when I did use it, i'd say the whole workflow pissed me off. with maya when I used it I found it overly complicated some things. somethings were fine, but other items were overly complicated and was easy to get confused.
Thanks antweiler! I know how to copy skinweights. What is the best practice to create a good proxy mesh? Should it be like a single mesh with overall shape? Like putting the shoe in a tight bag? What about geometry? Does it need to match the geo of the complex item?
shiny! you should put the link to your demo at the top of your store item details in bold so people are more likely to click it. rather than reading a block of text and scrolling down to even see it. the store should consider adding a demo / preview button.
