Really pretty and takes me back. It's so nice to see how clean and simple the style and layout actually is, but how much power it still has behind that to suck you right into the game.
@Seth: Thanks! Fixed... spleeing & Gramer has never bin my strung seut @everyone else: Thanks for taking a look! I'll see what I can do with the layout/navigation
Should I break the interface in pieces? For example, one "rectangle" interface separated in 4 parts. Is the outside a glow or another gradient? I'll do it in illustrator and then the layout is done in Photoshop . Thanks for the advice
I used to have problems with whiteboxing, but i think it's a pretty essential starting point to get your basic layout and measurements correct before starting on the specifics. Could you elaborate more on this?
Fully recommend Squarespace. Especially if you have an iPhone / iPad since you can download their portfolio app and keep a copy of your work offline in a pretty sweet layout within the app.
I suggest changing the top photo, it looks to pixelated. I'd also suggest changing the colour of the font because it clashes with the photo. Other than that, it's a really nice portfolio and web page layout.
Your site is basically unviewable in Opera, most of the images don't load, the layout doesn't load correctly, and it scrolls seriously slow Can't comment on the work because I can't see it, sorry.
the layouts is nice i like that its straight to the art and every image has your info on it. most important think if youre going for a position as a game artist is to have game models though.
Man I hope this becomes a trend for others to do as well haha. But like the ohters said some weapon UV layout tutorials and overall hard surface techniques would be much appreciated.
@Scruples Do u mean creating fast Trim Layouts, maybe with a given chamfer, etc..? And could u point me to these uv mapping roads? Would love to take a look at them.
