We are a small group of 4 Students at the University of Hertfordshire and we are working on our 3rd Year Project called Insurrection: London. We are in need of Realistic Character Animators who are willing to help us. This is a Student Project and will be unpaid work, but a great experience for someone looking to work with…
Aye! It's Leadwerks 2.4. The rabbits are freelance work of Bartek Rydel who I really can recommend if you have some character or animation work to give away. THe fishes are my model and I'm very proud of it. My first "character" model, lol ;)
I fail to see why people would do this with 3D. I mean, i "get it" if people steal 2d vector art for example and kitbash it for a freelance job, but finishing a 3d job unless you've got the required skills seems to me impossible.
Ow yeah, once again; New UT that back in roots of its 99 era. Freespace 3 New Freelancer New Simcity4..(appearantly theres a new one under-development,hope they don't bastardize it just for the audience of new web-based games )
What I've been wondering is, can an artist specialise in hand painted/low poly/mobile and expect to find a decent amount of work? I think it could be fun to focus on that market as a freelance hand paintery mobile guy but how viable of a career would that be?
ay! :) Yeah much agreed! She's had a tough time only getting freelance gigs in film and a little work in games. Trying to switch over to games since there are *more jobs, but we have noticed the lack of game animation centered forums.
sef, if he's got good coding chops and a portfolio to back it up, we outsource coding every now and then for flash games. PM me his portfolio and I'll add him to our list of freelancers if it looks like we can use him.
