1st, No one cares how optimized your high poly is or what its poly count is. It only has to look nice and smooth. 2nd, The Texture looks stretched (because it is) textures don't always need to be square. 3rd, The lids are uniquely unwrapped but are missing any kind of unique detail. Looks like the ribs are going in not…
the first trap for me was that I thought: pitty he has only 1 piece of work to show. Then I noticed that the GUI design is very odd and ititating and that the thumbnails are above the menu items (I would expect a banner there). Apart from that I assume you used some JavaScript hacks for the menu because I cant see the…
[image]http://www.wrightair.co.uk/digital/photoshop/images/paybox-back-01.jpg[/image} Why are we still discussing wether this is an artist or not? LOOK at that. Okay, so i'm being somewhat tongue-in-cheeck here, but still. And there's a world of difference between photosourcing and tracing, can't we just all agree on that?…
Thanks guys. I aim to use her for a very large image I plan to render out in Maya Mental Ray and composite in Photoshop. The image will feature many characters who all have something in common, they are half human half sphynx cat. This character is the focus of the image and will be composited right in the middle on top of…
Hey Wes, glad to see you are ahead of your peers and already got a website in the works. As for the site itself, you really really need to categorize your content better, particularly in the 3d vs. 2d vs. sculpture sort of stuff. For example, instead of a giant dump of random 3d stuff, break it into (at the least)…
I'm sure Maya does this but since I only have access to max right now I'm going to lay the theory on you and hope that helps. You should be able to set a viewport background to the 2D image. It will help you position your 3D model. If that is not an option. You can create a single plane the the same size ratio of your 2D…
I think there should be more wear and delapidation in your level.... everything looks clean and boxed out. kinda like UT in the old days... think of where things would brake down and make the sillouhette of your models more interesting to look at. I think the plan of adding plants and vines that are growing everywhere is a…
Careful with the sharpen filter on your final images. A lot of your images look quite oversharpened. This image being a case in point - You can see that all the dark lines have a super bright white outline.
Hey there, awesome work. You could for example post your image on your FB profile or deviantart and copy that image url here within the image tag. Hope this helps. Looking forward to more updates. Cheers!!!
If you embed your images, it makes things a lot easier for people to solve your problem. Just right-click an image and copy the full url, including the extension (.png or .jpg) then use the Attach Image button.
